We are a local family business, deeply rooted in these mountains. We have cultivated these lands for generations, witnessing the changes in our region and welcoming visitors from all over the world.

Collpapampa has a unique history; originally a mining camp in the 1950s, it eventually became a home for my family. Today, we are a small community of just four families, but we are guardians of a rich tradition dating back thousands of years.

We created Salkantay Lodge Collpapampa because we wanted to share our heritage. We are incredibly proud of our language (Quechua), our culture, and our gastronomy—and we invite you to be a part of it. When you stay with us, you are not just a tourist; you are a guest in our home.
